Q. If I want you to build my website, how long will it take?
A.This depends on the content needed, for a basic 5 page site I can get that up there in a day, more complex sites with more content will obviously take longer.

Q. I see your website ends .co.uk, do you only develop sites for the UK?
A. No, I will take on any job no matter where you are based worldwide.

Q. If I have a problem with my website that I don't feel could be answered over the phone/via email, how much will you charge to come and visit me to help me out?
A. I charge £40 an hour for on site visits and this applies to England and Wales only. If you aren't based in England or Wales and don't wish to incur phone charges to talk to me live I can chat with you via Skype which is completely free as long as you have a microphone at your PC.

Q. I already have a website, I just want you to change it, will this affect the cost?
A. Yes, part of my charge includes hosting and domain name, if you already have an account set up with another provider I will deduct this cost from your package. As long as you can provide me with your FTP username and password for your current site I can make changes.

Q. How do I pay you to build my website?
A. I currently only accept cheques, however I will be making more means available in the future. I ask for 30% advance payment and the balance on completion of your project.

Q. If you teach me how to update my website and I no longer require you for updates, is that it? No more charges?
A. If you already have a hosting account then yes, if you can update yourself then good for you! If however you use me for your hosting I will bill you £200 per year to maintain your website stays online, this includes hosting and your domain name.

I will contact you 2 months in advance of your website expiry date and then within the last month, every week.

Please be aware that if payment is not made within this time you are liable to losing your domain name, and this is very difficult to get back once it's gone, there are companies out there who earn a very good living from buying expired domain names and trying to sell you them back at extortionate prices.

Q. I require video/audio media on my website, will this cost extra?
A. No, anything on a page is free up to 5 pages, extra pages and media will incur extra minimal charges.

Q. I only require a basic website that is within 5 pages, yet I want a forum for my website, how does that work out?
A. Please contact me to discuss pricing in matters such as this, a small charge will be incurred for extra software.

Q. How can I get my website to show up on Google?
A. I'll make sure your website is added to the major search engines and I follow strict SEO compliance to ensure that your site is visible to as many search engines as possible.

I'll also endeavour to ensure that any keywords you feel your visitor's would need to use to hit your site are implemented in your website code.
